‼️Taking Up Space: Our Manifesto ‼️

Space isn’t just something we pass through—it’s something we shape and claim through our lived experiences. And that’s exactly what our workshop at the RIBA Festival of the Future was all about.

It was incredible to collaborate with three brilliant young creatives—Tomi Balogun , Akif Rahman and Ifsah Chowdhery —to explore what it truly means to own your space in architecture. Our workshop challenged the idea that architecture is just about architects. From consultants to children, everyone contributed to our manifesto, proving that every voice matters in shaping the future of design.

This festival was hands-down one of the most inspiring events I’ve attended in a long time—brimming with fresh perspectives, bold ideas, and a real sense of change. Festival of the Future 2026, we’re ready for you!!!

A massive thank you to Neil Onions and Sophie Draper —the driving force behind this monumental festival. And of course, it was an honor to collaborate with Beyond The Box CIC the Box once again.
